Day 4 on Anticosti Island, Que.... the Looming Snow Storm is out at Sea , We head down the Beach and the Sun pops out over the line of Clouds from the Approaching Storm.
Lance and Braydon on one wheeler on a "Doe" Killin Mission and Hunter, Gary and Myself on another Mission for a Racker, We head off down the Beach , Kick out a Few Does , Lance an the Boy stop and try to Purse the "Does" . We go a little further and put on a Quick Still Hunter where Gary Saw a Big Boy the Day before. No Luck for all and we meet up and further down the beach. The Sun Comes out and it's a Beauty of a Day , No Wind,

With seeing a good amount of track on the Beach , we stop , and try to get a Vantage point to see both ways on the Beach, I pick a Spot on the Bank and Go up the Bank to see if I can see down the Beach both Ways, not a good spot to see on the Beach both ways just down the direction we came from. But what we saw in from the Bank , a Yellow Grass hole in the Spruces loaded with Deer Sign and in from the Hole a Large Sunny Meadow, We headed into the Meadow and right off We spot 2 Deer ,Small Bucks , I thought one was a Doe ,so Braydon got a Lock on and Lance says both are bucks, I get a Look and I had to pass on both,

We started to do some calling , Doe Bleats and Grunts for a bit and then we decided to see whats beyond this meadow, You can see tall Timber at the back of this meadow and move in to try and kick something out.

We dint move 75 yrds and I spot a Buck off to the right, I tell everyone it's a good Buck, Lance Says good Buck good Buck. I see a Small strip of spruces off to my right and sneak up 40-50 yrds to it, and the buck is off to my right a little The Buck is still locked on to Gary Hunter Lance and Braydon,,, I pop up from that row of spruce and let one fly from the 25-06. The guys see him loop around and go down in some thick stuff . He wedged himself in some Spruces , He hid himself pretty Well. Gary Finds Blood and says "here is your Buck Chief"

A Nice 10 , my first 10 with my Cooper 25-06 at 100-125 yrds
