More and more we are receiving requests for "custom" coats. Here is a little explanation to clarify what consitutes a custom garment.
Anytime a change is requested to a garment (and the garment cannot be pulled from stock and shipped to you) it is considered a custom order. For example if you want a Benoit style coat in all camo, they would have to hand cut one coat for you and give it special attention as it goes through assembly. Although it may seem like a simple change, there is a lot more time involved in making that one garment and production efficiency decreases drastically. It is for this reason we have had to add Custom Charges to any non-stock item order. Please be advised the minimum custom charge ($50) does not cover any change you want to make, rather it covers the first change. Additional changes require more time and labor, a cost which we have to pass along to that customer. Please call for a quote.
Also, while we don't mind changing the color of a coat or shortening a sleeve and inch or two, we don't usually tailor a coat to a persons measurements. There is simply too much time involved.
If you are interested in a Custom order, we recommend you place the order between January 1st and April 30th to be delivered by the end of August.
Finally, before placing a order for a custom garment please be sure you know what size you need. Custom orders must be paid in full upon placing the order and there are no returns, exchanges,or refunds on custom orders.
